The KW-T (or: KV-T) is a Soviet WWII armored track tractor. The first copies of this vehicle entered the line in 1944. The drive was provided by a single W-2K diesel engine with a power of up to 600 HP. The length of the car's hull was 6.9 meters, with a width of about 3.25 meters. The vehicle did not have any permanent weapons. The KW-T vehicle was developed as a specific development of the KW-85 tank. In relation to its predecessor, it did not have a turret with main weapons, and the opening after it was covered with armor plates. The main task of the KW-T was to tow damaged tanks from the battlefield. Interestingly, the car did not receive any specialized lifting or towing equipment. Therefore, it can be treated as a kind of "front makeshift", which, however, fulfilled its role. It is worth noting that the KW-T was rebuilt from only damaged KW-85 tanks. Very often, vehicles of this type served in Soviet heavy tank regiments in the years 1944-1945.
